I successfully created the winning product logo and visual identity for the launch of VIVITROL®, ensuring a strong, cohesive brand presence from the start. My design process focused on capturing the essence of life in control, recovery, and medical innovation, aligning with VIVITROL®’s mission to support patients in overcoming opioid and alcohol dependence. I developed a timeless mark that balances modern aesthetics with a sense of trust and stability. The broader visual identity incorporated a calming yet empowering color palette, clear typography, and strategic design elements to enhance brand consistency across marketing materials, packaging, and digital assets. This work laid the foundation for a compelling, impactful launch, reinforcing VIVITROL®’s credibility and market presence.
The VIVITROL® launch marked a significant milestone in the treatment of opioid and alcohol dependence, introducing the first FDA-approved, once-monthly injectable formulation of naltrexone. Developed by Alkermes, VIVITROL® was designed to provide a long-acting, non-addictive treatment option for individuals struggling with substance use disorders, addressing the critical challenge of medication adherence.
